Return Policy

Shady Oaks Farm is committed to finding and selling high quality merchandise. We want you to LOVE your purchases but if for some reason you are unhappy with your purchase please follow all the steps listed in our Return Request process. If your item was damaged in transit please follow the steps listed under Damage Claim processing.

Return Requests (effective 2/12/17):

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition that it was received. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, please complete a RETURN AUTHORIZATION REQUEST. All return shipments must include a printed copy of the Return Authorization Request as well as proof of purchase. Proof of purchase may be your copy of the sale confirmation or packing list. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. All returns must be submitted within 10 days of delivery to your home. Returns submitted later than 10 days of delivery will not be accepted.  

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer. We highly recommend return shipments include shipping insurance regardless of value of the item. Returns that arrive in damaged condition will not be refunded. The return shipping address is as follows: Shady Oaks Farm, 252 Hilltop Rd, Lockesburg AR 71846.

Once items are received and checked for damages during transit the purchase price will be refunded to the original method of payment. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Please allow up to 14 days for inspection of returned item(s) and refund of payment.

Special order items and all lighting will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. This fee will be deducted from the purchase price prior to refund.

Any item marked final sale or as-is is not eligible for return and the sale is considered final. 

Damage Claims:

If your purchase(s) arrive damaged: please complete a DAMAGE CLAIM FORM. Upon receipt, we will review the claim for approval. Damage claims will require photograph(s) to show proof of damage as well as proof of purchase.  Photographs must include damaged item, packaging, and all packing materials. All claims must be submitted and received within 10 days from receipt of shipment.  Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Returns due to damage will be replaced. If the damaged item is no longer available, the purchase will be refunded. Please retain all original packaging and packing materials while your claim is being reviewed.

Cancellation Requests:

Customers may request a refund (if the order has not yet been packaged or shipped) but the cancellation may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. If approved, the refund minus any restocking fees will be refunded to the original method of payment.
